Cinemascope

This product offers you the chance to edit your video in 21:9 Cinemascope format.This means that your videos are not recorded in 16:9, but with an aspect ratio of 21:9 (2.35:1).

You can benefit from this product if you have recordings available in the Cinemascope format. For Cinemascope shots, a dedicated camera or a corresponding conversion lens is needed.

This product can not be used in demo mode, but it can be tested before buying at your local dealer, if you bring in appropriate material. For further questions, please consult your video dealer.

If the product is activated, you will get more settings in the project and in the display settings menu.

• Project settings
  In this menu, the "Format - Aspect ratio" will get the new setting "21:9."
  This must be set before the recording or import of the material and should not be changed in a used project.
  The format of a scene can be checked with the scene information button in the edit menu.
• System screen settings
  In the system settings menu, the "Screen" menu will have the option "16:9 than 21:9 Cinemascope" added. If the option is activated (check mark in the box), when you play your scenes the 21:9 format is used. This is necessary when using a 21:9 monitor. Otherwise black borders would appear.
